About Me

I'm Patrick, a technical SEO specialist based in Toronto. For the past four years I've helped e-commerce brands in travel, finance, and home services grow the organic traffic that actually turns into revenue. Holistic SEO is where valuable content, sturdy development, and data-driven design converge.

What I specialise in

SEO is a broad field. Here's where I go deep:

Technical SEO

Crawlability, indexation, rendering, JavaScript optimization, Core Web Vitals, schema, log-file analysis, and migrations monitoring and QA.

Content Strategy

Developing data driven content with the goal of providing genuine value to your readers.

International & multilingual SEO

Keeping large sites healthy across multiple markets and languages.

GEO / AEO (AI-visibility)

Making sure brands show up in AI-generated answers, not just traditional search. I've built my own Python tooling to map how queries fan out across AI answer engines.

Workflow Automation

Building custom Python tooling to handle the repetitive, large-scale work — audits, monitoring, data pulls.

How I work

Every website runs on a different tech stack. Each stack produces unique technical issues that require unique solutions. That's why no single audit ever catches every edge case. Good technical SEO takes rigorous testing and investigation to surface the hidden problems that might be quietly stealing your revenue.

ABL (always be learning)

I bring hands-on experience, current best practices, and an active SEO community to every problem I take on.

Results

A few problems I'm proud of solving:

When a redesign at a Big 5 bank made our pages vanish from Google

Pages were dropping out of Google and calls with Google were going nowhere. I traced it to client-side rendering — the site looked fine to people but handed Google a blank page — and worked with developers to move to server-side rendering. Visibility came back.

TruTravels: How UX Problems Become SEO Problems Become Ad-Cost Problems

TruTravels thought they had a paid media problem. It was actually a 30% organic collapse quietly inflating their ad costs. I traced it to a destination-page redesign the team needed, rebuilt it around real user research, and organic went from -30% to +70% year over year.

Protected a projected $9M in revenue during a full site redesign.

After a migration at a global travel brand, pages that rendered perfectly for users were being treated by Google as empty. Working with the engineering team and agency partner Propellic, I traced it to a hidden rendering issue bloating each page past Google's indexing limit — found it, fixed it, and kept the revenue that depended on those pages showing up in search.

Built for where search is going.

I've written a Python tool that maps how search queries fan out across AI answer engines, so the brands I work with stay visible as search shifts from ten blue links to AI-generated answers.
